White sage torch

A white sage torch is an incense made from dried white sage plant used for spiritual cleansing and rituals. White sage torch is often used for energetic cleansing and protection purposes. It is believed that sage smoke heals, protects and purifies the spirit, soul and emotional body. In a spiritual context you can use a white sage torch to energetically cleanse yourself (aura, energy centers), your home and surroundings and objects of power (crystals etc.). To use a white sage torch, you should light it using a match or candle and let it burn for about 20 seconds. Then gently blow out the flame so you see orange embers on one end. Slowly walk around, guide the smoke and the negative energy toward the open window or a door. Once you’re done, extinguish the sage smudge by pressing the burning tip into your fireproof vessel or sand until the smoke no longer rises.
